He also explained how the Governor of Mersa Matrouh confessed to the error of this demolition by the State Security, promising financial compensation to the Church for the losses caused to the building. Cette rencontre a eu lieu après que le gouverneur de Mersa Matrouh avait avoué l'erreur provoquée par le service de sécurité concernant la démolition de l'église, et il a promis à l'église une indemnisation pour la perte de l'immeuble
